# Focus Seed Product Brief
Status: historical release reference. Superseded for active product decisions by `docs/product-current-baseline.md`.
## Positioning
Focus Seed is a private, offline-first focus timer, habit tracker, and one-minute reflection app for people who want a quiet daily productivity loop without accounts, feeds, or setup friction.
## V1 Scope
- Today anchor task.
- 15 / 25 / 45 minute focus timer.

## Region Strategy
Focus Seed is designed as a global product, but V1 should launch in a controlled English-first set of markets instead of every country.
Recommended first countries/regions for production or closed testing:
- United States
- Canada
- Australia
- New Zealand
- Singapore
- India
- Philippines
- Malaysia
Defer EU/EEA, United Kingdom, Switzerland, South Korea, Japan, Brazil/LATAM, and MENA until localization, privacy wording, cultural QA, and any monetization requirements are reviewed for those regions.
## Future Revenue Path
- V2/V3: optional low-interruption ads after retention validation.
- V4/V5: one-time unlock or subscription for advanced statistics, premium themes, widgets, and backup/sync.
